November 14-15, 2008: The SMART Ride The SMART Ride is a bicycle charity event in which 100% of the funds raised by the riders goes to HIV/AIDS charity.  The 165 mile ride starts in South Miami and ends in Key West.  This year The Center for Positive Connections is one of the six Florida charities benefitting from the ride.  If you would like to ride, volunteer for crew or donate money/gifts to the ride, please visit www.thesmartride.org

December 13, 2008:  SAVE THE DATE for our Inagural Adult Holiday Party and Toy Drive.  Location TBA.   Admission is $10 or an unwrapped toy (to be given to children living with HIV/AIDS at our 10th Annual Children's Holiday Party on December 20th (see below for details).  Enjoy cocktails and celebrate the holiday season with us.  Space is limited to 150 and reservations are required by calling 305-891-2066.  Please leave your name and phone number.

December 20, 2008:  The 10th Annual Children's Holiday Party.  For children living with HIV/AIDS.   Participation requires a case manager referral or proof of HIV status of the child, which must be received on or before December 6.   Location of the party will be Greynolds Park  17500 West Dixie Hwy, in North Miami Beach from 12 noon - 4 pm.
